看到为梦想执着努力的人们，看着为生活拼尽全力的人们，看为自由声嘶力竭的人们，为美好生活、为明天尽力的人们，我们不能责怪，也不该质疑美国移民法规的冷酷无情，因为这是为了千千万万历尽千辛留在这片自由土地上的人的自由和安危。

我也想过为什么这些人不留在自己的国家好好地生活，偏要来这里受尽屈辱，因为他们的国家战火蔓延无法生存，因为他们的国家贫瘠荒凉不能给自己的儿女更好的明天，因为这里有他们的梦想和想要的生活，所以，一批又一批非法移民，前仆后继的铤而走险，只为了平静的生活，为了子女美好的未来，为了更多的自由。

试想如果美国移民局放宽移民政策，那么不久的将来大洋彼岸的自由之土会变得何等的混乱和不堪。

所以，虽然法不容情，但是毕竟有它的道理，凡事有利必有弊，而人所能控制的只能是做利大于弊之事，之于个人，我们当然希望多些max这样的人。

If you are reading for the same purpose, I strongly suggest you DO NOT copy crz all the following words are wrote by myself.】 Like many other films focus on globalization and immigration, Crossing Over is also a multi-character canvas about immigrants of different nationalities struggling to achieve legal status in Los Angeles.As an officer in the Bureau of Immigration, Max Brogan takes care of the boy of a deported Mexico immigrant Mireya Sanchez and try to track her, ended up finding her dead body in the desert between borders.In the same time, Max's colleague Hamid Baraheri, who's an Iranian American, was informed that his little sister was shoot dead. As Max getting more familiar with Hamid's family and getting closer to the truth, Hamid got involved into a robbery in Korean Town and changed a Korean boy's life forever,who will take oath to a US citizen right next day. Max eventually figured that it was Hamid's brother that killed their sister in the name of their father's will, and his brother was arrested when their father was taking oath and become a US citizen. Gavin as a struggling England musician pretends to be religious Jew to get a job in Jewish School and luckily get a green card. However, his girlfriend Claire who tries to get a green card with an immigration officer by having unlimited sex within two months, was deported. Taslima Jahangir, a 15-year-old girl from Bangladesh, presents a paper at school promoting that people should try to understand the 9/11 hijackers. The bureau arrested her and her family was forced to divided, Taslima and her mother was deported and her father and bros remain in US. As clear as we can see from this movie itself, the immigration policy in US has strictly restricted and narrowed after 9/11, still people around the world seek for any means, legally and illegally, to get a status and stay in the states. America is the only country that was born to be multinational and multiracial. But it was never as friendly as Uncle Sam seems to be. Nor as hospitable as the Statue of Liberty appears to show. Not to mention how the "separate but equal" policy twisted the constitutional law in history, just take a deeper look in the past decade. The US government and US people have never been so terrified until 9/11. The domestic focus began to move from east Asia to Muslim and Islam world. What a typical western mind will take it for granted that only public election, take ruling turns and the already established western political roles can make a country prosperous and modernized. What they don't know is, however, just as the teenager girl in the movie try to formulate, how people in the other side of the world think and feel. This movie tries to show the audience how far people will go and how much they'd like to pay for a status in the US, a green card or an Immigration certification. The young Mexico woman died for it. The young Korean boy had a bloody lesson. The Iranian family all became US citizens but deep inside they are still think in a conservative way and murdered one of their own. The England boy and Austrian girl, despite the fact they are all Caucasian, ended up differently by chance. And the Bangladesh girl was deported from the country she had grown up since three years old, only for a presentation she thought she had the right to free speech. When we study immigration culture and more specifically speaking, American immigration culture, there is always a question haunting around my mind. Why do people prefer to sacrifice or risk everything to stay in States? It is no longer the old time that we hold the belief that there is gold everywhere in US. People nowadays hold different dreams and different lives to the US are actually doing the same as the in Mayflower. US cannot guarantee you a successful future, but it provides you more opportunities. Along with that, you also need to suffer the consequences. Different backgrounds are making different little communities. It's hard to say how many first generations can really blend into the mainstream. Take Hispanics for example, there're still prejudices that most illegal migrations are Hispanic, while in fact, the number people speaking Spanish in US is bigger than all they other language speakers exclude English. Rome was not built in a day, and US can never be a perfect country as it claims to be. But we cannot ignore the fact that it inspired people who're struggling, who still have dream, who must have a life to lead to. The distinction of nationality and border are the outcome of industrial revolution, and all the bittersweet an immigration tastes can never be fully empathized. That's why this movie cannot be really popular. That's also the reason why the study of immigration culture is so attractive.

美国号称自己包容、自由、人道，bullshit，他们需要的是对他们有用的人，对他们国家有用的人，对他们没用的人毫不犹豫地赶走。

既要做婊子，又要立牌坊，要么你就别宣称那些假大空的口号，要么你就像避难所一样来者不拒，遮遮掩掩，说一套做一套。

美国人，或者说西方人，不吃狗肉，因为狗是人类的朋友。

尼玛狗比牛聪明，狗会讨好人尼玛狗就是人类的朋友，牛特么招你惹你了，因为牛的营养价值高就尼玛吃牛肉。

和特么的移民政策一个操性。

Nowadays most of the Hollywood movies are presenting us a wonderful picture of the American society, which is full of freedom and opportunities. But Crossing Over help us understand the immigration problem of the real American in a completely new way.It is a story constitutes of about six small stories and these stories are linked by one or two threads. It is a multi-character canvas about immigrants of different nationalities struggling to achieve legal status in Los Angeles. The film deals with the border, document fraud, the asylum and green card process, work-site enforcement, naturalization, etc.Max Brogan, an INS agent stationed in Los Angeles, who decides to help an illegal textile worker (Alice Braga) by making sure that the woman's son is taken care of by his grandmother in Mexico when the woman is detained. After a while, the woman escaped from the prison and then tried to across the border to see her son. But finally she died in the desert alone with an illegal status. Meanwhile, Max's partner Hamid Baraheri, struggles to reconcile his job with the culture of his family and the reckless behavior of his younger sister. His brother killed her sister mistakenly. Max Brogan investigates this case and found the truth at last. And Cole Frankel, an adjudicator who determines the status of immigrants and their green cards has a sexual relationship with Alice Eve who is a beautiful Australian actress .This beautiful girl sacrifices her body for a green card and got deported at last. Ashley Judd plays Cole's wife, who defends immigrants in status cases. She deals the case that a girl with a Middle Eastern descent was deported because she wrote a paper asking rights for the killer in 9.11. In a parallel storyline, a young Korean youth, days before his family's naturalization ceremony, makes a decision that could have terrible consequences.In this movie, all the heroes come or stay in American to live up their own American dreams. Someone wants to be a musician and someone wants to be a movie star. They want to get into the American society totally, since we all know the American society is like a melting pot. Though some of them succeed, the others got deported. Immigration problem has been troubling the U.S government for so many years and it is still a big problem that cannot be solved immediately. We often think immigrates are rich or have a high IQ living comfortably. But the truth is like this. According to the survey carried out by the American population immigration center shows that now there are 12 million illegal immigrates in American and are still increasing. Many of them only attended the high school and do many heavy works in the U.S. Their rights can never be ensured and they get low pay living in a bad environment.The young Mexican mother came to American illegally and worked hard in a small illegal factory in order to live. The illegal immigrates provide the American with much cheap work force, and also become the burden of American employment , medicine and social welfare system. They want to earn a living there, but the American government cannot deal with them. And the girl with a Middle Eastern descent got deported because of her wrong words shows us something more thought-provoking. The American is a multinational country, so the immigration policy there is always loose. But after the “9/11” terrorist attack, American government are worried about their safety and started to take serious actions. Unlike the movie Far And Away showed in class telling us about the success of immigrates, this movie seems to reveal the real immigration to us cruelly. It is full of tears and also full of love from human beings. The INS agent cares about the young mother from Mexico. Maybe it shows that the government knows the pain of all the immigrants and is willing to take action to solve this .But now this problem is too complicated to solve. So we should look at the American dream in a sensible way. Don’t think immigration and American dream are perfect things. Everything is not perfect. The broken American dream is an education to us.

很沉重的题材，看得出影片创作者要将困扰美国社会的一个大问题和盘摆在观众面前。

可大概主创忘了，这只是一部电影，想说得太多，很可能导致什么都没说明白；这应该是一部电影，不应失去其观赏性，如果让人觉得boring，就什么也讲不成了。

可惜这就是一部过于严肃，想说得太多，以至于让人觉得boring的电影。

其实本人对呈现社会问题的文艺工作者，从来是满怀敬意的，以至于对允许这种文艺作品产生的国家，都让我有些羡慕。

毕竟，类似性质和程度，哪怕是再小一点的社会问题，都是不可能在我们这里的影视剧里看到的。

但如果能做得更好一些呢？

同样是多线叙事，《毒品网络》在呈现毒品问题时就将故事讲得不动声色而又感人至深，当影片最后，看到唐钱德尔演的那个警察安装窃听器后边走变笑，我都要哭了。

同样是讲移民问题，《不速之客》用一个近乎不可能的故事，让观者为剧中人惋惜，为他的离去而不舍。

哈伯的参演，的确为这部戏增添不少人气，我就是因他才看的。

老人家娱乐了大众半辈子，忽然严肃起来了，俺还真不太适应。

片子里他的外国话（墨西哥语？

）说得还真利索，估计是专门练过一段时间吧。

美国是个好地方，所以才有这么多人想进去，但正因为有太多人想去，才又出现了那么多问题。

一个国家，能正视而不掩饰社会所面临的问题，才是解决问题的开始。

就像《幸福重点站》里一样，美国的大门就在那里，很近，但就是走不进去；在《Crossing Over》中，或者家庭破裂，或者身心疲惫，有的人幸运地走进去了，也有些人被无情地踢出门外，但还有一些，孤独地死在国境的铁丝网边，被那扇自由却又苛刻的大门压死————梦想只是一种可能性，在它成真之前，很多人都会失败，可能有退路，也可能什么也没有。

水向低处流，人向高处走。

如果付出同样的劳动，而有着不同的生活水准，谁不想往更好的国家去？

但如果不是在原来的祖国生存不下去，又有谁会想要去移民？

社会是分层的。

既需要有知识的医生、律师，也需要有愿意从事劳务工作的洗衣工、环卫工。

所以既需要引进具有创新能力的高科技人才，也需要在农忙时节引进大量的劳务工人。

移民政策就是为了调节这些不同的需求。

影片最后入籍归化宣誓的一场戏，让我想到很多。

如果世界上的国家不是按民族来划分，而是按不同的宗教信仰或不同的政治倾向来划分，每个国家都有自己不同的理念和原则，你加入这个国家，愿意在这个国家工作和生活，你就要认同它的理念，并宣誓效忠于这个国家，否则就离开它，移居到自己喜欢的国家去。

无论基督教、伊斯兰教、儒教，无论纳粹的国家社会主义、凯恩斯的国家资本主义、哈耶克的自由市场经济、苏维埃的共产主义，都划分在一定的地域内做自己的社会实验，让民众自己来用脚投票。

然后按预先制定的规则，当人口占土地的比例低于某个数值时，这个国家就可以被宣布为自然消亡。

哈哈哈！

这样多好！

应该是很不错的电影，可惜现版本的翻译严重影响了观影的理解程度。

移民到美国是一个现在非常严重的社会问题，在2008年的美国总统大选当中，每一位候选人都对加强移民执法机构的功能和效率以及为非法移民追加豁免的可行性发表了自己的看法和政见。

对于电影制作者来说，也是一个很容易发挥的题材，一般情况下它都会是群戏，以《撞车》的模式开展，然后又包含了性，暴力，欺骗等等，要制作出一部既有一定质量，又有一定票房的电影，不算太难。。。

哈里森·福特年纪虽然大了一点，但警服一穿上，还是显得正气十足。。。

克利夫•柯蒂斯刚在《异能》里演了一个会变钱的特异人士，又在这里成为了哈里森·福特在移民局的同事，这位新西兰的老兄最近可算是够忙的。。。

爱丽丝·伊芙饰演的澳洲女演员为了绿卡，用自己的身体作交易，也让人印象深刻，只是，她的胸怎么下垂得那么厉害。。。

喜欢莎莫·比施尔饰演的孟加拉小姑娘，尤其喜欢她在课堂上那一段，含着眼泪却仍然在坚持。。。

来自南非的导演，本人也花了14年的时间才拿到美国绿卡，对电影应该真是有感而发了。。。

对于《穿越国境》我似乎有点忘记了，虽然看完本片的时间并不久，而且当时印象深刻，看完之后让我浮想联翩，可我现在就是有点记不起来电影的情节，该死的记忆力，随着我的年龄一点点的衰弱，无法避免，无法遏制。

好在我自己的生活现状还是能够让我一点点的回忆起电影的情节，虽然《穿越国境》和我自己的生活十万八千里的距离，但并不妨碍我联想起那些让人心碎的情节。

曾经在《南方周末》里看到有则报道非洲黑人在广州求生的稿子，那些不远千里的黑佬通过旅游签证的方式进入中国，然后长期在这里逗留，不再回去。

通过批发一些生活用品或者中国廉价的纺织品等之类邮寄回国，他们俨然成为某国的某个公司驻广州的办事处了。

其实这些人的生活并非我们想象有多好，想象一下，除了工作之余，还要四处躲藏，时刻防备派出所的检查，运气不好的会被遣送回国，虽然重徒而返并非什么大不了的事情，但毕竟要花费时间和金钱的，原因只有一个，他们不是标准意义上的某国公民。

电影《穿越国境》就讲述了一批来自世界各地，但没有获得美国公民身份认可的持有绿卡的外国人的艰难而充满血腥的异域生活。

通过移民局官员麦克斯•布罗根这条主线，把看似几个毫不相关的人员和故事串联在一起，让我们感受了一个充满了危险和向往的美国梦，只不过在我们醒来的时候才发现，这个梦终究是破碎了。

影片讲述了五对家庭，一个来自美国邻国墨西哥的未婚妈妈，两个信奉伊斯兰教的阿拉伯家庭，一对恋人，还有一个来自东方的韩国。

显然，每个人生活的最终结果并不一样，有的人成功了，有的人失败了，有的人死在茫茫的边境上，有的人被强制性的遣送回国。

但不管结局如何，可是每个人的过程都充满了血腥和艰苦，无奈和痛楚，悲伤和喜悦，伤感和惊喜。

故事从移民局官员麦克斯•布罗根带队冲入一个地下制衣公司开始，从墨西哥过来的未婚妈妈因为没有绿卡而被逮捕，她恳求麦克斯照顾她年幼的儿子，因为儿子寄托在一个类似托儿所性质的院子里，如果她没有按照规定的时间上缴规定的费用，唯一的结果就是孩子被赶出来流落街头。

显然麦克斯对这样的带有悲情色彩的故事持有司空见惯的态度，每一个将要被遣散的年轻女子都会这样说，唯一不同的时，上车时这个墨西哥女子给了他一个纸条，上面有明确的地址和孩子的名字以及她本人父母的住处，却被麦克斯随手扔在地上。

半夜时分，遭受内心不停质问的麦克斯终于决定去找这个孩子，谢天谢地，在制衣厂的院子里找到了纸条，根据纸条的信息找到了孩子，可是麻烦又来了，孩子找到了，可孩子的母亲却找不到了。

他只能把孩子送到墨西哥女子父母的住处，然后再寻找这个墨西哥女子。

影片的结尾，墨美两国的边境，一具高度腐烂的女性尸体，给出了一个苍凉的悲剧性结果。

麦克斯•布罗根在移民局的搭档哈米德•巴赫出自一个典型的阿拉伯家庭，信奉唯一的真主阿拉。

他们的父母当年通过偷渡的方式来到美国，几个孩子都出生在美国，在法律的范畴内属于美国公民，只是未得到仪式的确认而已。

而这个家庭却因为宗教的信仰爆发了一个家庭的悲剧，哈米德的妹妹有了一个男朋友，却因为自身放荡的生活而得不到家庭成员的认可。

暴怒之下的另外一个哥哥枪杀了自己的妹妹和男友，最终在成为美国公民的仪式上被逮捕。

移民辩护律师丹尼丝•弗兰克尔专门为那些一心想成为美国公民而非法入境的所谓难民变化，她自己的丈夫是绿卡申请政府部门的官员。

一对年轻的加拿大恋人来到美国，女孩子是当地演艺界一个小小的角色而已，男友的歌声美妙。

当丹尼丝•弗兰克艰辛的为那些受难的家庭辩护，追认他们的身份时，他的丈夫却通过权利让来自加拿大的女孩成为了床上的欲望宣泄品。

这种不道德的交易让女孩子陷入了一种近乎绝望的地步，可是为了获得美国的绿卡，她不得不按照这个官员的指示操作，一次次的出卖肉体，一次次的灵魂煎熬。

可最终事件曝光，官员被批捕，她被驱除，而他的男友却通过了官方的审核而成为了正式美国公民。

当尼丝•弗兰克看到自己的丈夫被逮捕的场面，那一刻似乎绝望。

尼丝•弗兰克无疑是一个充满了爱心和善良的律师，她总是通过自己不断的努力来为自己的辩护人谋求利益的最大化，最大可能的让他们留在美国，可现实往往都不如意，充满了悲剧性的色彩。

一个阿拉伯的女孩在班级上总是被人嘲笑讥讽，种族歧视和宗教主义的冲突让她充满了愤慨和悲伤。

而她经常查阅基地圣战组织的信息却被FBI盯上，最终她接受了人生第一个最为痛苦和苦涩的决定。

她在美国出生的弟弟妹妹将和父亲生活在美国，而她和母亲被遣送回国，不得踏入美国的领土。

一个家庭就此分裂，亲情就此隔断，融入的泪水和尼丝•弗兰克律师的努力却抵挡不了种族歧视和宗教信仰冲突带来的后果，她只有吞下苦涩的结局，踏上飞往故国的飞机，而飞机下这个光怪陆离的国家里住着她最亲却无法相见的亲人，一颗星就此碎裂。

而来自东方的韩国家庭的经历却带有无厘头式的血腥。

逐渐长大的孩子在叛逆当中不认可美国主流文化，而韩国人特有的倔强和冲动让这批孩子拿起枪打劫了一个超市，恰好移民局的官员哈米德•巴赫因为家庭的惨剧而熏熏欲醉的来到超市买酒，双方爆发了枪战，其他几个劫匪被打死，韩国少年在颤抖和哆嗦之中夹持人质和哈米德•巴赫对峙，来自移民局工作的经验和阿拉伯家庭的信仰以及对美国绿卡的理解，哈米德•巴赫奉劝这个孩子放下枪，放掉老板娘，混灭视频逃离，这样可以保留一丝希望。

最终在近乎崩溃的处境里，少年逃窜，场面充满了血腥的混乱，然而充满了无厘头的解构是，少年却因此走上了循规蹈矩的生活道路，最终拿到了象征美国合法公民的绿卡。

看似毫不相关的五个家庭，五个零碎的故事，确因在移民局工作的麦克斯•布罗根而串联起来，他的一生都不停的看着这些故事在上演，喜剧或者悲剧，高兴或者悲伤，只有结局不同而已。

作为麦克斯•布罗根的扮演者，哈里森•福特第一次没有象《夺宝奇兵》里的琼斯博士一样大动拳脚，而是通过一双饱经人间冷暖和世事苍凉的双眼冷酷的注视着一切，通过细节的串联和拼凑，让整部影片有机的结合在一起，给观众呈现了一个破碎不堪的美国梦。

911事件之后，摆在美国政府面前的移民问题变得迫切而尖锐，面对那些蜂拥而入的异域他国的人，美国政府必须擦亮双眼，严格审查制度，可在这个过程中的冲突显然不完全是靠制度化就能解决的。

文化冲突，宗教信仰，种族歧视等等尖锐的社会化国际性问题一一凸显，于是依托国际反恐的大背景之下，冲突只能升级到更加的尖锐，原本客观而公正的问题却因为环境发生了变化而错综复杂。

你无法说某个制度的对或者错，也无法评价某个人的高尚和卑劣，因为这不是局部的改变就能影响全局的结果，而是国家意识之间的碰撞，文化基因的交错，宗教信仰的对立，种族歧视的尖锐导致的，无人能够幸免，无人能够解决。

这是2009年度最不起眼的电影了，唯一的亮点来自哈里森•福特，曾经的琼斯博士。

但如果你错过了，那我告诉你，你将错过了精彩和深思。
